Common use
Indometacin (also called indomethacin) is a strong NSAID used to treat inflammation, stiffness, and pain in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout attacks. It works by blocking enzymes that cause inflamation in the body. It may also be used for back pain and bursitis.
Dosage and direction
Take Indometacin exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken 2 or 3 times per day with food or milk to avoid stomach upset.

Precautions
