HealthSouth Valley of the Sun Hosts 3rd Annual Amputee Running Clinic

3/17/2018

On March 17, HealthSouth Valley of the Sun Rehabilitation Hospital held its 3rd Annual Amputee Running Clinic. Each year, the clinic inspires people like Star Strahan, a park ranger who experienced limb loss at age 12 due to bone cancer, to run for the first time in 27 years. “You set your own limits,” says Star. Amputees of all ages attended the clinic to practice running and receive support from others who have experienced limb loss.
