HealthSouth Valley of the Sun to Host 2nd Annual Amputee Running Clinic on March 25
Special guests include U.S. Paralympian and American Record Holder Lacey Henderson, Elite Amputee Runner Steve Martin and Former Paralympic Track Coach Bryan Hoddle
For the second year, amputees will have the opportunity to be inspired and educated on how to safely train when running with a prosthetic device through the 2nd Annual Amputee Running Clinic presented by HealthSouth Valley of the Sun Rehabilitation Hospital. The event will be held on Saturday, March 25 at Prescott Intermural Field from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 8 a.m.
The HealthSouth Amputee Running Clinic is open to amputee runners age 10 and older. Attendees will be inspired by special guests including former HealthSouth Valley of the Sun patient and elite amputee runner Steve Martin as well as former Paralympic track coach Brian Hoddle and U.S. Paralympian and American Record Holder Lacey Henderson. For use and training purposes, access to state-of-the-art components will be available to participants.
